ReplyDeleteWe believe that you could recycle more, have better water systems in other countries to help with contamination problems, quit over consuming and live within our means, use technology to have less emissions from cars, get goods locally to reduce carbon emissions. We need to learn to live with our needs instead of our wants.

ReplyDeleteQuestion 2
We suggest getting facts from the report, present them with statistics and ask if they want their children and grandchildren living in this type of environment. If not, present suggestions for sustainability and renewing the environment from the report. Assure them that even small changes can make big differences in the future.

ReplyDeleteHow are we going to convince people to change their current lifestyles?
We can show them the facts from the report, and let them be aware of what will happen if we let this continue. We could encourage recycling and reusing, instead of wasting. There are also easy ways of conserving energy, such as turning off lights. Any effort can make a difference.
The first step in convincing people to change their current lifestyles is to make people aware of what an impact they make on the Earth. We believe that if the government and producers would make the "green" products less expensive and more appealing to the customer, they would me more likely to use and buy the products.

In order to convice people to change their current lifestyle we must make them aware of the environmental issues that we are facing today. As of now we have the opportunity to change our ecological downfall. We need to increase environmental awareness in the class room. It should be introduced to children at a young age. The media has a substantial influence on people in this day and age. With this in mind we should publicize ads and campaigns addressing issues and educating the masses about these problems.

Everyone needs to put limits on their everyday lifestyles. Such as: eliminate the drive to get food by growing your own, making recycling easier by offering recycling pickup services to everyone, and anytime they are available, try to buy energy saving products.

ReplyDeleteIn order to convince society to change their ways of wasteful living we need to use shocking facts that might persuade them through a sense of fear for their future. We can also suggest simple alternatives that they can utilize immediately, such as recycling, turning off light switches and carpooling. Once people see the results of their participation, maybe they would be inclined to go further in "going green."
